Selection Procedure:

Written test at matriculation level followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are conducted to select the candidates for Railway Group-D posts in South Central Railway. Written test consists of General knowledge, general awareness, mathematics and reasoning questions. Question paper will be in English, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Marathi and Kannada. Candidates should remember that there is negative marking and the qualifying marks are 40% for UR and 30% for reserved candidates. Those who qualify in written test will have to go through Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Physical Efficiency Test:

There will be a PET for 1000 meters run in 4.15 minutes for male candidates and 400 meters run in 3 minutes for female candidates.
