The recruitment process of these scientists will be done by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).

ASRB is a dedicated board which only focus on the recruitment of Agriculture Scientists to engage them in the ICAR research units. The exam conducted by ASRB on this recruitment is known to be ASRB National Eligibility Test (NET). ASRB conducts this exam every year; by this year the notification has been issued and application are received by ASRB.

Applying Procedure:
Individuals willing to apply for this exam must pay a fee. This fee may vary according to the category which the candidate belongs.
Category Wise Fees:

• General - Rs.1000/-
• OBC - Rs.500/-
• SC/ST/PC - Rs.250/-

This fee has to be paid by means of cash deposit in the bank or by NEFT transaction to the ASRB account prescribed in the official notification.

The applicants have to submit application in the official website "www.asrb.org.in". After submitting the application you have to take a printout of the application copy for future reference.

Age Limit:
Candidates who are attained 21 years of age as on 1st August 2013 are eligible to apply for this exam. The relaxation in upper age limit will be given for reserved category applicants.

ICAR NET Admit Card 2013:
While appearing for the written exam on the scheduled date the participant have to take the Admit Card along with them. The admit card contains the photo of the candidate, registration number and exam center details. The admit card will also acts as an Identity Card for writing the exam, so don’t forget to take it with yourself.

How to Download Admit Card:
Candidates can download the Admit Card before one or two weeks prior to the written examination. Candidates can log on to the official website "www.asrb.org.in" to download it. While downloading you have to provide you registration number and other details. After getting the softcopy of this take printout for further uses.
